📄️ Access to tools
When providing access to the tools used by the organizing team, the principle of least privilege should be applied. Full administrative access to tools should only be provided to organizers who are in the Admins group (see below for more information about this group). As much as possible, shared logins should be avoided (for example, use of Sprout Social by individuals with their own accounts rather than sharing the @devopsdayschi Twitter password).

A subset of organizers will be considered to be “admins” for access/administration of tools. Adding a member to this group requires approval from at least two existing members of the group (confirmed via email sent to [email protected]).
📄️ Security policies
When possible, two-factor authentication should be used by all accounts. This is especially necessary for any system that allows public posting or communications (Mailchimp, social networking systems, etc), as well as any master/administrative functions (admins in Google apps, etc). All devopsdayschi.org Google Apps accounts require two-factor authentication.
